An appropriate environment
Given our ambitions for development both in France as well as in the international sector, it is more than ever essential to have the best expertise available and, in return, to consistently look for the best possible balance between individual aspirations and the company needs.
Laboratoires URGO thus implemented, on October 1, 1999, an offensive agreement on arrangement and reduction of the work week in France. Since this date, the 35 hour work week is the company's reference schedule for all salaried employees. In the year following this agreement, over 110 jobs were created.
Conscious of its responsibilities both with respect to its staff as well as its customers, Laboratoires URGO has implemented a multifaceted policy of safety based on information, training and the use of appropriate tools.
In terms of security, Laboratoires URGO has fully committed to a long-term policy defined in a safety policy whose objective is designed to make staff behavior evolve in view of risks and thus to decrease hazardous situations.
Respecting the environment is also at the heart of Laboratoires URGO concerns. With the aim of respecting regulatory and legislative requirements applicable on one hand and of preventing pollution and reducing the impact associated with its operations on the other hand, Laboratoires URGO has implemented a system that combines management of the environment with that of safety and quality.
